You can purchase a tree and it will planted for you when we do our spring planting. Trees cost $6.00 each and can be puchased by clicking the link below.
We will e-mail you back at the address provided by PayPal once the spring planting is complete.
For the trees that are purchased by consumers, we will tag the tree, photo it and e-mail you back the photo and GPS coordinates. Some folks like knowing they are giving back to the forests and others like to go Geo-Caching in Northern Minnesota to see the tree they purchased.

Reforestation Program
We are fortunate that we are located in the heart of Minnesota Forests, which are alive, renewable and growing every day. Since we use our local resources, we feel it is important to give back to the forests to help ensure our precious forests are sustainable for now and forever.
The Plant a Tree program allows Nelson Wood Shims to do just that. In the spring of each year, Nelson Wood Shims plants thousands of trees within 100-miles of our manufacturing plant. The trees are grown at a local nursery and planted when the frost goes out in the spring. You are welcome and encouraged to join us in our efforts so that every generation can benefit from the forest.
